businesses confidently, explain products and services clearly, negotiate terms, respond to objections, and present value persuasively.
The course emphasizes clarity, confidence, and strategic use of language. Through role-plays, real-life scenarios, and structured communication frameworks, learners develop the ability to
handle meetings, sales conversations, networking events, and client interactions effectively.

Description:
This introductory level teaches essential business communication skills across all
four language domains (speaking, reading, writing, listening) through practical
workplace contexts. Units focus on everyday tasks such as making introductions,
basic office communication, asking for and giving opinions, simple presentations,
telephone exchanges, and report basics.
Value Added:
Learners build the foundational language they need to participate in basic
business interactions, navigate common workplace situations, and communicate
with colleagues and clients using clear, simple English.
2. Business English – Pre‑Intermediate (Business Result
Pre‑Intermediate)
Description:
At this level, students expand vocabulary and functional language for business
contexts. Units include structured activities for describing company structure,
comparing products/services, polite interruptions, asking follow‑up questions,
discussing performance, and evaluating ideas. Grammar and speaking are taught in
a business context with real scenarios and case studies to reinforce practical
language use.

Students grow beyond basic phrases to handle workplace tasks more
independently, such as participating in meetings with simple reports, giving
structured updates, and interacting in professional discussions with greater
confidence and clarity.
3. Business English – Intermediate / Upper‑Intermediate
(Business Result Intermediate & Upper‑Intermediate) Description:
Learners refine professional communication skills such as exchanging detailed
information, describing work responsibilities, explaining projects and plans,
conducting meetings, negotiating, evaluating performance, and networking. Role
plays, real business case studies, and communicative activities build accuracy and
fluency.

Students can handle complex workplace interactions with ease — leading
conversations, handling negotiations, presenting information clearly, and
responding appropriately in real‑world business situations. This level bridges
general English to professional business communication ready for international

4. Business English – Advanced (Business Result Advanced)
Description:
Advanced learners develop high‑level business communication skills necessary for
senior professional environments. Units cover managing discussions, facilitating
internal meetings, reporting research, delivering formal presentations, participating
in teleconferences, dealing with conflict, changing organizational demands, and
persuasive communication. Case studies and discussions emphasise complex
professional discourse.

and produce polished written communication. This level prepares learners for

- Even Days: 3 sessions/week, 1 hour each
- Odd Days: 2 sessions/week, 1:30 hours each
- Saturdays Only: 3 hours/week
- Sundays Only: 3 hours/week
